This is the third pattern from the book Vettlingar / Mittens by Margret Maria Leifsdottir. These mittens were originallly inspired by the design of Henrik Vibskov, from his fall/winter collection 2010. The book is now out of print but the individual patterns are available as Ravelry downloads.

The mittens are knit from the cuff up in the round using five double-pointed needles.
