Designed to coordinate with both Beanie Aflame and Beret Aflame, Mitts Aflame are perfect for making a matching accessory set as a gift or for yourself. The pattern is sized to fit a woman’s medium hand, when knitted to pattern tension of 7 sts and 10 rows to 1”/2.5cm stocking stitch after light blocking. The mitts are meant to be worn with slight negative ease for a snug fit, with a stretchy lace motif and thumb gusset for comfortable easy wear.

Both written and charted instructions are given for the lace pattern. It is not necessary to use charts to work this pattern.

This pattern is also available as part of the Aflame Collection e-book, which represents a significant saving on buying the three patterns separately. No refunds will be made if you buy an individual pattern and then wish to buy the eBook afterwards.

You will need: around 150yds fingering weight yarn
2.5mm (US 1.5) knitting needles for working in the round
5 stitch markers (ideally two matching pairs different from one another and one single marker)
Stitch holder or waste yarn
Darning needle

You will need to be able to: work in the round, work common increases and decreases, work from either charted or written instructions for simple lace
