Materials:
For lady’s gloves or mitts: 1 (50g) ball Beehive 4 ply Fingering or Lady Galt Kroy 4 ply. For men’s gloves or mitts: 2 (50g) balls Beehive Astra. Two No. 12 (2 3/4mm), (U.S. 2) knitting needles or two No. 11 (3mm), (U.S. 3) needles or whichever needles you require to produce the tension given below.

Tension:
8½ Sts and 11 rows = 1 inch (2.5cm) with 4 ply yarns and No. 12 needles in stocking st.
7 Sts and 9 rows = 1 inch (2.5cm) with Astra and No. 11 needles in stocking st.

Sizes:
Average lady’s size 6½ - 7 with 4 ply yarns. Average man’s size 8 - 8½ with Astra.
