This soft drapy topper fits like a dream!

As with its cousin, Cirrus (published by Shibui Knits and designed by Nancy O’Connell), this piece is worked side-to-side using a mix of Shibui Pebble and Shibui Silk Cloud

The difference?

  • This design is 5” longer in the back than the front (a perfect “hiney hider!)
  • Garment is shaped gently at the neckline
  • Cuffs incorporate Shibui Dune, a gorgeous camel blend that holds its shape with a gentle “hug”
  • Mixed Clouds incorporates soft color blocks by keeping a consistent Pebble paired with 2 colors in Silk Cloud. The colors change softly, with the dominant shade of Pebble fading nicely to the background, and the soft Silk Cloud defining the color blocks.
  • Cowl is worked in double Silk Cloud - a dreamy soft treatment at the neckline.

Sample garment is shown in the following shades:

  • Dune (cuffs): Graphite, Color #2002
  • Color Block A: Pebble, Mineral Color #2022 ; Silk Cloud Graphite, Color #2002
  • Color Block B: Pebble, Mineral Color #2022 ; Silk Cloud Mineral Color #2022

When making yarn substitution, consider weight of yarn to achieve gauge as well as coordination of colors to achieve the subtle color block effect.
