Mixed Media was designed for the 2018 LYS Tour. It’s a scarf that combines sections of 2-color brioche, two types of lace, and 2-color brioche cables.

The gauge for the Diamond Lace pattern is 2” x 1 3/4” for one repeat of the pattern.

There are actually three patterns in Mixed Media. They all use the same yarn and needle but the amount of yarn needed varies.

#1 The Theme uses all four sections of the pattern. Basic 2-color brioche, diamond lace, 2-color brioche cables, and a small lace pattern.
The yarn requirements: 3 skeins Apple Fiber Studio Jonagold in 3 colors (1 needs to be darker for two color brioche).

#2 The Lace Variation uses alternating bands of the 2 lace patterns.
The yarn requirements: 2 Skeins Apple Fiber Studio Jonagold.

#3 The Brioche Variation uses basic 2-color brioche and 2-color brioche cables. The yarn requirements: 4 skeins Apple Fiber Studio Jonagold in 2 colors (a light color and a dark color for two color brioche.
