Knit from one end to the other, one half of this triangle is made entirely in the stockinette stitch while the other half is worked in garter stitch. The two stitches give this scarf/shawl a rich and visually interesting texture. (Lion Brand Yarn)

The Scarf is worked in a mix of Garter st (k every row) and St st (k on RS, p on WS).

The first half of the Scarf is worked in stockinette stitch, with increases.

At the halfway point an Eyelet Row is worked. This is a decorative division of the halves of the Scarf.

The second half of the Scarf is worked in Garter stitch, with decreases.

Note: Gauge for stockinette half and garter stitch half is not the same. Follow shaping directions to create both halves of the triangle.
