ABOUT THIS PATTERN:
● Your mixx Woven Ombré Hat will be the coziest hat you’ll ever wear -- With its slightly slouchy fit and densely-knit cables, it will keep your head toasty while looking perfectly stylish. No matter what colors you decide on, the simple gradient technique makes this hat a fun knit as you anticipate the progressive color changes -- you’ll always get stunning results!

*** Knitting LEVEL 3 - INTERMEDIATE ***

SKILLS REQUIRED:
● Knitting in-the-round
● knitting cables - C6F & C6B (it’s best to learn cables without a cable-needle for this pattern…use of one is ok, but the process is slower)
● You’ll also need to know how to K2TOG and how to make a pom-pom

SIZE:
● Hat will fit Average Adult Head Size: 21”- 23½” (modeled in photo on head measuring 22“)
Finished measurement: 8” across the ribbed band and 10” across the widest part of the hat (unstretched).
Directions are given for larger size modification and for both regular ribbed band and fold-up ribbed band.

GAUGE: 30 sts across and 29 rows per 4” in cable pattern, on larger needles.

TOOLS:
● US 6 (4.0mm) 16” circular needles
● US 9 (5.5mm) 16” circular needles
● stitch marker
● tapestry needle
● pom-pom maker (optional)

YARN:
● 640 yds of fingering weight. (note: yarn held double throughout) Amount includes yarn required for plush pom-pom.Yarn used for hat pictured is KnitPicks Stroll fingering weight in colorways Eggplant, Kestrel, Chrome {Glimmer} and White.
