This is a PDF crochet pattern for 2 Extreme Bulky Throw blankets! I was so excited to work with this yarn I experimented with both a 40mm hook and 25mm hook. These patterns use 3kg of 100% Merino Unspun wool roving that can be purchased from Mama Knows Luxury!

The first pattern I’ve included will use the full thickness and a 40mm hook (approximate 150yards).
The second pattern shows you how to split the yarn for double yardage and uses a 25mm hook. I’ve added a textured twist to this pattern using front and back post double crochet. I’ve also included detailed instruction on how to join your yarn

I suggest playing with your yarn and hooks to determine what you prefer! This blanket made either way is the ultimate in luxury and warmth.
