The gauge of the yarn is 20 stitches to 4 inches, but since its a hat I knitted it a bit tighter so it would be warmer. I used a 4mm needle and the knit was beautiful. The twist in the inca gold was really unique

Inca Gold is a combination of 80% merino and 20% silk and has a wonderful twist
Since Inca Gold is now a discontinued yarn, I re-knit the hat using SMC Extra Soft Merino ….works really well too
