I made this reversible slouchy hat to be a super easy knit, both appropriate for beginners and a quick knit for more advanced knitters.

Decreasing method for crown shaping
In the pattern suggest using the magic loop method when shaping the crown section of the hat, but you can use double pointed needles of the same size, if you’re more comfortable with that.

Sizes
I designed this pattern so that it uses at maximum 1 skein of the Tosh Chunky yarn (with my gauge). The numbers below refer to head circumference.

  • Child – 18”-20” (46-50 cm) – 110yd (101 m) of yarn (most infants and small children)
  • Adult S/M – 20.5”-22” (51-56 cm) – 140yd (128 m) of yarn (most teens, youth and women)
  • Adult L/XL – 22.5”-24” (57-61 cm) – 165yd (151 m) of yarn (most men)

I made this pattern free. In exchange I kindly ask that you use it only for charity and gifts, and not for profit. If you want to sell products made from this pattern, please message me for licensing options.
