Mock Rib Cowl/Snood is knit back and forth and in the round using stockinette and garter stitches. Deep yoke is worked back and forth to create an opening that can worn on left or right shoulder. Main part of cowl is worked in the round. When the wind is cold and biting, pull your cowl over your head to keep warm! Pattern includes instructions for four sizes. Height of cowl is adjustable. You will need 400 to 700 yards / 365 to 650 meters DK weight yarn. Pictured cowl is size 2 shown on US size 12 dressform. Enjoy!

Silver sample knit with Blue Skein Yarns Maeve in Shel Silver.

Purple sample knit with Miss Babs Yowza in Dusk.
