Looking for a super-bulky pussyhat pattern that is mindless but requires a smidge more in the way of skills? A top-down design? A fake seam on a knit-in-the round hat? Stiffer ears? Endlessly adaptable, crazy easy? Perhaps this pussyhat pattern is for you.

Based on the very excellent Super Cat Hat by the very excellent Destiny Meyer.

ERRATA
Latest version of the pattern (January 6, 2016) is correct.

WHY PUSSYHATS?

  1. Provide the people of the Women’s March on Washington D.C. a means to make a unique collective visual statement which will help activists be better heard. (this means a sea of pink hats!)
  2. Provide people who cannot physically be on the National Mall a way to represent themselves and support women’s rights.

The March (in Washington D.C. and other cities in North America) is happening January 21st, 2017. You can learn more about the March, and the Pussyhat Project online. I also created a Ravelry page with collected resources in one place
