Wide collar as shown in sand bank, malabrigo has not been blocked. Note: Malabrigo, if washed quickly, will maintain it’s size fairly well. If soaked, it relaxes ,and can be pinned out for the cowl, which will be lacier. Other yarn may not relax as much. This pattern is not amenable to machine wash or dry, even if yarn label specifies it can be. Please wash by hand and lay flat to dry. Depending on the yarn used and desired size, may need some shaping as it dries.

Rios is a light worsted yarn. This can easily by knit in a heavier weight with a size 8 needle for a larger size.
