This knit is full of texture and details, such as: gathers, asymmetrical opening with I-cord buttonholes, garter and I-cord edging, hidden short row shaping in the back, and gentle waist shaping, and a set-in seamless pocket with a narrow opening and wider bottom.

Larger bust sizes have the option for a shorter button placket and short-row shaping for the bust (instructions included in the pattern).

It is knitted in-the-round, from the top-down. It is seamless, except for a few stitches in the buttonhole placket.

The yoke is kept small (with an added a raglan sleeve) to help reduce visual weight to the upper part of the body.

A pocket was added to draw the viewer’s eye around the sweater, instead of focusing on the upper body.

The I-Cord edging really helps to polish off the sweater. It also helps prevent the sweater from stretching and dropping off the shoulders.
