Worked in a fine, woolly, Shetland-style fingering, the wrap has a slightly retro look, while at the same time the simple vertical lines of the lace and the many ways in which a long rectangle can be worn make it perfect for wear in 2015 (and beyond!)

The original wrap was made with Holst Garn Supersoft 100% Uld, colour way “Nougat”.

Given appropriate yardage and needle size, the wrap would look wonderful in a wide variety of yarn weights or fibres for a different look.

Gauge is not critical for this type of knitting. The most important consideration is the appearance and drape of your fabric. A washed and blocked swatch is recommended.

Please note that this is not the same lace pattern as that in the January Blanket.

27/01/2016: The PDF has been revised to include the missing line indicating the change to 3.5mm / US 4 needle, following lower garter stitch border. Updates have been sent to purchasers.
