These mitts are a modification of the original shorter version, Staghorn Cable Fingerless Mitts. This version is longer, is ribbed at both the top and bottom edges, the palm side of the hand is now textured, and the Staghorn Cable construction is slightly different. I have included a photo-tutorial which demonstrates how to crochet the cables too.

There are 3 sizes available: small, medium, and large. There is lots of stretch due to all the texture. The instructions are written for an 8” length mitts, but a note to guide you if you wish to lengthen them to your preference.

There is minimal materials required: superfine weight/sock weight yarn, an E crochet hook, and a yarn needle. I used 388 yds of yarn for 1 pair of mitts.

Intermediate crochet level, but an excellent Easy crochet level challenge pattern.
