“The stockings were hung by the chimney with care…”

It’s a tradition carried on by almost every family, and the variation of stockings in size and style are innumerable. These Christmas stockings are designed for the mixing and matching of colorwork motifs. Each member of the family can have a stocking unique to their personality, but the collection of stockings will have a cohesive look. Many of the patterns can be knit in two colors, or made fancier by adding additional colors.

Worked in worsted weight, the stockings measure approximately 18” in circumference, and 15-24” in length (or any desired length).

For larger or smaller stockings, adjust yarn and needle size. The basic construction remains the same.

Each of the 23 charts included in the pattern were hand drawn and not copied from any source. They were my original ideas. You may incorporate other fair isle charts that you create, find online or in other resources. The pattern explains how to do this.
