The soft tonal changes in the Tweed Stripes® yarn used for this knit afghan truly makes this piece a work of art. Composed of mitered squares of various sizes makes this throw a very psychedelic project to try. (Lion Brand Yarn)

Lion Brand Notes:

Afghan is worked in a modular fashion. Square 1, for the lower right hand corner is worked first. Progressively smaller Squares are added until you finish at upper left corner of Afghan.

Stitches are picked up across edges of previous Squares to begin each new Square.

Each Square is worked back and forth in rows, with a decrease worked on every other row to form the miter.

Afghan is worked following Assembly Diagram.

A kit that includes yarn and pattern is also available on the Lion Brand site: Article # L20385K
