Knitted and crocheted bag inspired by Finnish Korsnäs sweaters.
Knitted in the round and then crocheted. Lining sewn in by hand.
The crocheted pattern is adapted from an original 1860s sweater from the small village of Molpe in Österbotten, Finland. That chart was published in 1987 by Gretel Dahlberg, in the book Korsnäströjor förr och nu.
