Description:

“Momiji is the Japanese word for their variety of Maple tree, with its delicately lacy red leaves, which the lace in this pattern calls to mind,” says Matthews. “Also included is a bonus lace scarf pattern for the same yarn, which may be better suited to some of the busier colourways.” They are both lovely, and the designer’s judgment is very sound when it comes to what works best in what kind of variegate. Purl Diving patterns are beautifully simple to follow and the results are always a prize.

Pattern notes:
This pattern has the lace pattern charted (for the Momiji Scarf; no chart for bonus Roman Holiday Scarf pattern) in addition to written directions.

The original of each pattern required one 3.5 oz / 100 g skein of Lorna’s Laces Pearl.
