I designed this scarf for my mom - the classic cables in off white perfectly compliment her classic fashion style. The pattern consists of three columns of cables separated by a purl stitch and edged with garter stitch. The overall size of my finished scarf is 10 inches wide and around 72 inches long. You will need to use three separate row counters to keep track of each cable pattern. The cable patterns used are: three strand braid worked over 9 stitches and 8 rows; a zig zag cable with bobbles worked over 16 stitches and 28 rows; and a regular cable worked over 10 stitches and 6 rows. The pattern begins with garter stitch for 8 rows and then the cables begin.
