A top down, triangular-shaped shawl with a simple lace body and a larger lace border. Optional colour striping creates a dramatic element to the shawl. Named after the Monarch butterfly, the shawl’s body elicits images of crawling caterpillars and the border takes on the shape of the butterfly wing. Enjoy!

NOTES:
-larger needle used for BO only
-you are welcome to use 2 colourways to achieve the striping by floating your yarn or use 1 colourway overall for a more solid effect
