From Book

With its fantastic range of coloured shapes, resembling a piece of abstract art, this stocking stitch blanket by Di Gilpin is knitted in Scottish Tweed 4ply, DK and Aran, making a wonderful big warm throw. It is lined with Kaffe Fassett’s striped Ikat fabric, also by Rowan, which picks up the colours beautifully.

This pattern uses 16 yarns/colours. It requires a piece of backing fabric 190cm (75in) x 140cm (55in)

Assuming all wool is used this pattern requires:

  • 1860 Aran
  • 1107 DK
  • 1800 4Ply
