This is a pattern for a small knitted needle book with a range of monogram options. The pattern uses a basic combination of written intructions and charts. The i-cord border is explained with a series of detailed photographs.

Included are charts for all letters of the English alphabet in both a serif font and a stylised font. Monograms can be placed on both covers of the finished book.

The pattern uses 4-ply yarn and 2.75mm needles (DPNs for the i-cord border). It is knitted in two flat panels and assembled. The pattern suggests you make the needle book in cotton yarn, but you can adjust for whatever fibre, needles and size you prefer.

The finished needle book measures approximately 5.5cm x 7cm (closed).
