Monokuma from Dangan Ronpa!

My son wanted a hat with his favorite anime character on it and here is the result. Surprise your fave fan with their own!

Hat requires using intarsia colorwork technique. While intarsia is not difficult, you’ll need to use separate balls of yarn for each color section and twist your yarns every time you change them so the work is flat and sts are connected through each color change. I used 2 small balls for each color - one on each side of chart, and 1 extra red ball for the top of chart between the ears. There are many good videos and tutorials online if you need to brush up on your intarsia skills.

This hat will fit a head about 21-22” circumference. You can change the size by increasing or decreasing by 4 sts. The chart section has 30 sts on either side of it’s placement. Those 30 sts are the area you would increase or decrease for cast on.
