Mont Blanc Cake Mitts are the matching mitts for Mont Blanc Cake hat, but they are also beautiful as a stand-alone piece.

The mitts feature a slip-stitch cable over a striped stockinette background, which is slightly asymmetrical and different on the left and on the right mitt.

The slip-stitch cable is worked only on CC rounds, while slipped on MC ones. This technique produces a dramatic cable even on a stockinette background… that means that there is very little purling involved in the process.

And if you follow the Tutorial at the end of the pattern on working cables without cable needles, the mitts will be finished in no time!
