The braided lattice cabling pattern on this hat mimics the latticework often found on homemade cherry pies - a favorite dessert in Northern Michigan, where Traverse City is known as the cherry capital of the world. One of the most famous varieties of cherries grown in the region is Montmorency, a tart cherry that makes delicious cherry pies, with lattice crusts just like this hat pattern!

Sizes:
Adult S/M (M/L)

Finished Measurements:
15 (16.5”) circumference slightly stretched
8.75” tall

Notes:
Wash and block your swatch as you intend to wash the hat (the designer hand-washed, then laid it flat to dry overnight, then through a dryer cycle on low heat to finish.) This stitch pattern is very stretchy and the S/M will fit heads up to 22” around, while M/L will fit heads up to 24”.
