The summer of 2019 I got obsessed with moon photography, and managed to get a few good photos with a good camera and lens combo. This design is inspired by the many images I captured depicting the various phases of the moon.

The Moon shawl is multiple moon phases nested together separated by an I-cord bind-off. The border incorporates moon phases worked via duplicate stitching in stockinette panels.

Moon is designed for 3 colors, and can be worked in heavy fingering or sports weigh yarn, as well as standard fingering.
