Garter stitch, seed stitch, and contrast colour fishnet lace make this shawl a simple and relaxing knit while also keeping the knitting interesting. The end result is an open and lofty wrap which depending on your colour combo can be a classy, timeless wardrobe staple or a wildly bold statement piece.

Moon Dust is worked sideways from one corner to the opposite side of the triangle. Increases are made on one side only for a slightly asymmetric triangle shape.

Size is easily adjusted to different yardages by making fewer or additional stripes before the MC border.

Woolenberry patterns include complete & clear knitting instructions with beautiful hand-drawn illustrations, giving you a smooth and cherished knitting experience. This is a pattern you’ll want to knit again and again.

Two colours of fingering weight yarn.

Pink + grey sample shawl knitted with La Bien Aimée Fingering in colours Direwolf (MC) and Romance (CC). Yellow + speckled sample shawl knitted with Hedgehog Fibres Sock in colours Pollen (MC) and Genie (CC).

Main colour (MC): 400 m / 437 yards
Contrast colour (CC): 284 m / 311 yards

Size 4 mm / US 6 circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain pattern gauge.

Shawl is worked flat but circular needle with 100 cm / 40 inch length is recommended to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
