This little drawstring pouch pattern is designed from my lifelong love of the moon and its symbolism. A quick knit and easy colorwork even for beginners, and it only takes a small amount of yarn. A great stash buster for all those small amounts of leftover sock yarn.

This bag is wonderful to hold all sorts of small objects, such as dice, cards, talismans, gifts, or gems.

MATERIALS:

  • Roughly 75-80 (combined) yards of 2 colors of fingering or sock weight yarn
  • A set of 2.75mm (US 2) DPN (double pointed) needles and/or 1 32+“ circular for magic loop knitting
  • Tapestry Needle for sewing in ends.
  • Stitch Marker

Gauge isn’t very important for this project, the bag size may vary a little, but not much.
Along with multiple photos and a full colorwork chart, there are also full written instructions for the entire bag, including how to make an i-cord drawstring.
