Moonlight Shadow.

The ideal outfit for historical dolls such as American girls Elizabeth, Felicity or Caroline, to wear when going for a stroll in the park or going shopping.
It includes an overdress, two different petticoat versions, a camisole and underwear.Instructions for lace trimming are included.
It can be made with a textured petticoat for a sober elegance or with a ruffled lace border for a more lively effect.

Yarns needed are:
Light fingering or heavy lace weight for the overdress. I used about 1.5 50gr balls or 300 meters.

Baby cotton for the petticoat and her “unmentionables” Fingering weight, about 300grs.

A small amount of fine crochet cotton for the lace trimmings at wrist or neck. Bought lace could be used as an alternative or any other sort of lace.

For one version I used ribbon lace for the hem of the petticoat. I used 1 50gr ball and then continued in the cotton yarn. Instructions are given.
Instructions are also given for the beaded snood, based on actual patterns that were available in the eighteenth century.

This is not an easy level pattern as there are a lot of stitches and different stich patterns on overdress, bodice and petticoat; but it is not complicated to make.
