Moonrise
On my first visit to Mexico in the 1970s I visited the ancient city of Teotihuacan, north of Mexico City, The step Pyramid of the Moon is one of the site’s major features and was the inspiration for this design, as I envisioned the moon rising above the temple. Light, lofty, and luxurious Billow was the perfect yarn choice for this pattern, creating an ethereal feel with the three mosaic stitch patterns I used to create the image.
I used two skeins each of Dusk and Quicksilver for the wrap.
