Morelia is a comfortable, light sweater that entails fresh and elegant details. A simple lace pattern decorates the bottom half while the high to low hemline adds whimsical touch. The sweater is slightly cropped and has intended positive ease.

NOTE: Lace is charted only. No written directions for the lace rounds are given. Although the lace chart is fairly simple and straight-forward, this is something to note if you are new to chart reading.

Morelia is knitted mostly in the round from the bottom up, beginning with the lace section. Short rows are added to create an asymmetrical hemline. Once the body is complete you will knit both sleeves from the bottom up and attach them to the body. The raglan yoke is then worked, with the final step being the icord bind off. This sweater is intended to have a positive ease of around anywhere from 2-10 inches around the bust. (Mannequin has a 34” bust and is wearing XS size). If you are unsure of which size to choose, you can measure your upper arm and armhole depth, and decide which size to make based off those measurements.
