I got lucky when marrying my husband. I got lucky to have one of the coolest mothers-in-law. Over the 10 years of our marriage she’s always supported me, even caked my yarn ;), and my kids love her so much. Last year she started having stomachache and I pushed her to go to the doctor. After many weeks of tests and visits in the hospital her diagnosis was not good - lung cancer. Right now she’s fighting like a lion to live a little bit more for her grandkids.

About two weeks ago while my hubby was away in Cologne I spent my time with kids and my mother-in-law. I was making a couple of rows on my socks and my MIL humbly said she needs to buy some light ones to have when she goes for chemo. I nodded with understanding and that night caked some ML Bouncy Sport to make her a pair. My awesome MIL will not wear storebought socks in hospital when she’s fighting the damn cancer! I’m poured my love for her into every stitch of these sock and decided to publish them for you. Additionally all sales will be donated to Rak’n’Roll foundation (rak means cancer in Polish). Indefinitelly.

Rak’n’Roll foundation supports all cancer patients, they organize workshops, therapy sessions, they collect hair to make wigs and I’d love to support them.
