Lacy socks to showcase solid or semi-solid yarns: Twining leaves run down the front and the back of the socks, embellished with small ‘dew drops’ from tiny bobbles. These beauties not only keep your feet warm, but are a stunning fashion accessory when worn in open shoes.

These socks are knitted from the cuff down. The heel is worked with a heel flap and gusset; the pattern is continued onto the heel flap.

You can choose to work the pattern either from the charts or written instructions. Unlike in the original version in Knit Now magazine, where the charts of the different pattern were split to take up as little space as possible, the downloadable file contains combined charts, so that knitters only work from one chart or one set of written instructions for each round. There are individual charts and written instructions for each size.

The pattern includes three sizes: S, M and L to fit leg circumference 17 (19.5, 22) cm 6.75 (7.75, 8.75)“. Leg length including heel results in 21.25 (21.75, 22.25) cm 8.25 (8.5, 8.75)“ when knit as given in the pattern. Foot length is adjustable.

Material: 1 skein of fingering weight yarn with a yardage of approximately 400 m (440 yds) per 100 g.
Notions: 6 stitch markers, darning needle
