Moroccan Tile Blanket
Moroccan tile-work is very inspiring to me and often reminds me of crochet motifs. This is especially true when the corners of the tiles transform into another motif when lined up to other tiles with the identical design. This geometric detailing inspires many of my motifs, including the one used in this blanket. The center of the motif is quite simple, and the spade-shaped corners line up beautifully with the adjacent motifs to suggest a different motif altogether. As an added bonus, the blanket requires no edging because the motifs naturally display a pretty scalloped detail.
