From No Sheep for You:

Says the online Encyclopedia Mythica, "The Morrigan is a goddess of battle, strife, and fertility." Why such a terrible name for this beautiful sweater? Well, making this pattern happen, to put it delicately, kicked Jenna’s butt (in fact, our working title was Ninja). That’s because she made sure that everything in this sweater reflected Aran tradition, while still being gorgeous to wear in a modern context and not threatening to droop to knee length while you walk. Mission accomplished."
