Inspired by the botanical prints of Arts and Crafts master William Morris, this shawl and hat are perfect for showing off the color fade of Mad Hatter Sport Botanical Spectrum Blossom. Using just a single five-cake pack, you get plenty of WOW for your money!
The wrap is worked in one piece, beginning with a provisional cast on. Progress through the colors to the other end, then add narrow bands of garter along the sides, and wider bands of garter at each end. For those who want the same colors in the borders as the body of the shawl, there are instructions to work the wrap in one piece, with wide garter bands at the beginning and end, with narrow bands of k1, p1 rib along the sides.
The hat is worked in one piece from the top down, beginning with a circular cast on. Worked mainly in stockinette, the band of lace is added to form a turned back brim.
