This is my very first design for loom knitting! I’m pretty excited! This cowl came about when I began searching for cowl patterns here on Ravelry, and found lots of them, but they all were worked in the round over many stitches. I prefer to knit on round looms, not rectangular, so I decided to design a cowl that could be worked on less stitches and seamed into a standard cowl size.

Thus Mosaic Cowl was born! :)

I used the KB orange small gauge hat loom (80 pegs) but any loom with 3/8” spacing should work.

Any worsted weight yarn will do for this pattern, although I do recommend either a solid or a slow-changing striping yarn. Any yarns with dramatic color changes will distract from the mosaic design.

Enjoy and please don’t hesitate to contact me with issues or (gasp!) errors you may find.
