It’s so groovy, baby! The Mosaic Tiles Cowl, created especially for the newest British yarn samplers at Jimmy Beans Wool, combines multiple textures, weights, and colors of gorgeous British yarn in a design that’s both mod and marvelous! Get the pattern for free when you purchase the sampler from Jimmy Beans, or purchase it here on Ravelry and use up all those delicious bits and bobs in your stash that you just can’t bear to toss out. Whatever yarns you choose, the result will be stunning!

You’ll need about 150 yards (total) of yarn to complete the cowl as shown (the sampler includes 20 yards each of 8 different yarns in weights ranging from DK to Aran), but you can keep on knitting as long as you choose! The pattern also has guidelines for making the cowl wider. Seam with Kitchener or do a simple 3-needle bind-off - the choice is up to you! With a simple but mesmerizing mosaic pattern, the work just flies by, and you can use yarns as different as the myriad bands of the 1960’s age of musical awakening! Put on your favorite British Invasion record and rock out while you stitch it up!

Please note: the pattern includes two color sequencing options for the exact colorways in the samples shown. The samples in your specific JBW kit should have a small slip of paper inside each ball that lists the yarn name, which you can match up to one of the sequences listed in the pattern, or choose your own sequence based on your personal color preferences!
