A very fun knit with a mosaic pattern in the yoke, two color broken rib pattern at the neck, cuff, button bands and bottom edge to echo the garter stitch mosaic pattern in the yoke. Knitted on button bands. Crochet slip stitch detail at top and bottom edges of button bands for continuous flow of color along the edges. The decreasing for the yoke starts in the top of the mosaic pattern. There is compensation for the gauge change between the stockinette and the mosaic portions which is managed by changing the stitch count. There is subtle waist shaping.
