Mosquito Creek may not sound like an ideal place, but it is a beautiful hiking trail in North Vancouver which inspires this perfect into-the-woods cardigan. The shawl collar keeps the chilly wind at bay, and a cardigan is always the perfect choice for layering. The squirrels will be totally impressed with your amazing sense of style.

This cardigan is worked from the bottom up. Short row shoulders joined with a 3-Needle Bind Off make a polished shoulder line. Sleeves are picked up and worked from the shoulder down for a tidy set-in sleeve. The remainder of the sweater is of standard construction and features a short row shawl collar. Cable patterns are charted only.

Sample is 39.5” size; model is 31” chest.
