The Mossvale Shawl has a textured fabric and fun, knitted pom pom edging to wrap yourself in when days are cold. This large shawl works up quickly in DK weight yarn and can be made in a solid colour, with a contrast trim, hand spun yarn, and also looks wonderful in hand dyed yarn.
The pattern repeat is easy to remember, so it’s a good project for when you’re at Knit Night, watching tv or your favourite knitting podcast :-)
The shawl measures 155cm/62” (inner edge) x 34cm/13.5” deep after blocking. While specific gauge/tension and size guidelines are given, this is the sort of pattern that can be easily adjusted for your yarn weight/amount and gauge.
