Mosswood Drive hat is a beanie style or sometimes called a toque. It has a double brim which can be left down for a taller, slouchy style or folded over to be more fitted.

It is the perfect knit for busy women who are juggling a job, home, family and probably home schooling at the moment. You want something you don’t need to concentrate on too much in the evenings as you don’t have much mind space left at the end of the day. But the inclusion of a variegated yarn creates interest and still makes it an addictive knit.

Have you got a skein of yarn in your stash that is so colourful and so busy that you just don’t know what to do with it? This hat is the perfect project! Pair it with a plain yarn to tame that yarn!

This pattern has three options for the crown. Pick Option One for a very tall and slouchy style; Option Two is slightly more fitted and Option Three is the most fitted. The sample was knitted using Bellissima in Double Denim with You & Me, a variegated yarn with an Option Two crown.
