Mossy Rock Tam
by Janine Bajus
Rainforest mosses and lichens greens can be bright or muted--and the little moss spores are always surprising! Eight colors are used in this classic Fair Isle design.
Tams are easier to knit than they seem, making this pattern perfect for the knitter who is new to Fair Isle knitting as well as for the experienced knitter who enjoys the play of color in Fair Isle designs.
Needles: Size 1 16” circular; Size 3 16” circular and double-points. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: marker; tapestry needle; coilless pins to mark decrease points (optional).
