She might look like her father, but she’s mine, all mine…look, we’re wearing matching Mother and Daughter Lace Snoods…Daddy can’t wear one of these, can he? Can he?
This simple, but striking lace pattern is deceptively easy to make yet stylish to wear. The scarves lift the simplest of outfits and accommodate many differing styles.
Knitted in Patons Smoothie DK, the yarn has a broad palette of colours and washes and wears well. Pulled threads are often a casualty of children’s garments, but these can generally be coaxed back and even if a small child stretches the scarf, it still looks good in a longer length.
For contrast, try Sirdar Snuggly Tiny Tots DK or any other quality DK yarn as tension is not critical.
The set can be completed in 3 x 100g balls and has simple, easy to follow instructions. The scarves are a quick, contemporary make.
