A sweet, slightly tall hat, knit in the round, for an infant, (3-12 months); toddler (9-18 months); or small child (12 months to 3 years). Sport weight yarn is used for this fun hat.

Full of fun techniques - A Double-Braided edge that will make you feel quite accomplished (looks harder than it is!) and topped with a chunky tassel or the modern choice, baby dredlocks. Baby dreds are just small drapery cords you twist yourself and wrap together with yarn. Dreds stand tall on the tip of the hat and make a really bold statement.

Mother Goose may be old-fashioned but this hat will put your baby top on the fashion charts! Two color stranded stockinette
The pattern includes 2 charts that you copy, cut out and tape together separating them on the hat with markers to make them easy to track.
