My inspiration for this delicate shawl was overgrown rockery next to my apartment house (which is not so delicate). Each spring this rockery is buried under the Lily of the Valley and I absolutely adore it. This means that spring is officially here.

I wanted to reflect the nature of this flower – tenderness, hope and promise of new beginnings. And remember the smell? Too bad I can’t put the fragrant of this blossom in my knitting.

You will need:

  • 5 balls of DROPS Baby Merino (I used white)
  • pair of 3,25 mm (US 3) long needles
  • cable needle

Note! Pattern requires technique called “nupps”.
