You are free to use any yarn you desire as long as you use a suitable hook to match. I’ve used 4ply cotton, 8 ply cotton, DK acrylic yarn with great results. 4mm and 4.5mm hooks.

This project can be made over a weekend, stress free, easy to do and a fun pattern that is easy to remember.

Attach a rose pin to finish it off and give it to Mum for Mother’s Day if you can part with it.
