Pattern 1- Sparkling Diamond is inspired by Satine’s dress in the opening number. I used a combination of hearts and diamonds for the pattern. The Frida yarn sparkles like a diamond!!!**

MATERIALS
350- 400 yards Sierra Yarns “Frida” worsted 78% baby alpaca / 22% lurex
(approximately 2.25 skeins 180 yards per skein)

NEEDLES
US 8 / 5 mm circular needles (to be worked back and forth)

47” x 21” unblocked
67” x 28” after blocking

GAUGE
13 stitches = 4” in pattern

INTRODUCTION
“PATTERN 1- Sparkling Diamond” is a triangle shawl pattern. It begins with a garter tab cast on and then is worked top down. Increases are made on the right side rows. The pattern is written and charted. There is an option to apply fringe after the shawl is blocked.
